Guest Code of Conduct

AhimsaScape Pty Ltd | ABN: 49 698 297 497

At AhimsaScape, we are dedicated to creating a safe, harmonious, and inclusive experience for every guest, local partner, and guide. By joining one of our trips, you agree to uphold the following principles throughout the duration of your experience.

1. Respect and Inclusivity

AhimsaScape maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward discrimination, harassment, or bullying of any kind. This includes conduct based on race, colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, political views, or any other personal characteristic.

Every guest is expected to treat fellow travellers, local guides, chefs, community members, and AhimsaScape staff with kindness, dignity, and respect at all times — both in person and in any digital communications related to the trip.

2. The Ahimsa Spirit — Patience and Calm

International travel is inherently dynamic. Delays, logistical changes, and unforeseen circumstances are a natural part of the journey. AhimsaScape asks that all guests approach these moments with grace, patience, and an open mind.

The spirit of Ahimsa — non-harm and compassion — extends not only to the places and communities we visit, but to how we show up for one another as a group.

3. Cultural Sensitivity and Environmental Respect

Guests are expected to approach all destinations, communities, and cultural practices with curiosity and respect. This includes:

  • Dressing appropriately when visiting religious or culturally significant sites

  • Following the guidance of local guides regarding customs, etiquette, and behaviour

  • Treating natural environments, wildlife, and local ecosystems with care and without interference

  • Refraining from conduct that could cause offence to local communities or bring AhimsaScape into disrepute

4. Group Consideration

Our trips are designed as intimate, small-group experiences. Each guest's behaviour directly affects the experience of others. Guests are expected to:

  • Arrive punctually for all scheduled activities and departures

  • Communicate any concerns or needs to AhimsaScape staff promptly and respectfully

  • Refrain from conduct that disrupts the comfort, safety, or enjoyment of other guests

5. Right to Remove

AhimsaScape prioritises the wellbeing and safety of all guests, staff, and local partners above all else. AhimsaScape reserves the right to remove any guest from a trip immediately and without refund if their conduct:

  • Violates any provision of this Guest Code of Conduct

  • Disrupts the experience or safety of other guests, staff, or local partners

  • Involves any form of verbal abuse, physical aggression, or threatening behaviour toward any person

  • Causes damage to property or brings AhimsaScape or its partners into disrepute

Where a guest is removed under this clause, all costs associated with their early departure — including alternative accommodation, transport, and repatriation — are the sole financial responsibility of the guest. No refund of any trip payments will be provided.

6. Reporting Concerns

If you witness or experience conduct that you believe violates this Code of Conduct, we encourage you to raise it with an AhimsaScape team member as soon as practicable. All concerns will be treated with discretion and handled in accordance with our duty of care to all participants.

This Guest Code of Conduct forms an integral part of AhimsaScape's Terms & Conditions (last updated May 2026) and the Guest Waiver, Release of Liability, and Assumption of Risk. By booking a trip with AhimsaScape, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Code of Conduct.
